Sweet Pepper – Long Sweet Marconi

Description This wonderful Italian heirloom variety produces very long, tapering peppers up to 18cm long. Sweeter than most bell peppers, this thick-walled variety is bright green when young, maturing to bright yellows and reds. Heavy yielding. Peppers need a long, warm growing season. Sow undercover in late winter/early spring, 1cm deep. Provide moisture and warmth. Germination is sometimes slow. When seedlings have 2-3 true leaves, transplant into their final growing place.
